Since 1917, the heart of Yellowstone Bend Ranch has been in the historic house and barn.
With restoration plans by award winning architects, Fernau and Hartman, construction is currently underway.
The renovated house will offer five comfortable guestrooms for homeowner's exclusive use and a
wraparound porch with barbeque facilities and room for lounging or entertaining. Each homeowner will enjoy
rights to the five guestrooms for at least two weeks per year as a place to stay before building or to
houseguests afterwards.
The barn, overlooking the trout pond and swimming dock will house the children's discovery center,
a small fitness center, basketball court, and the general store. The second floor, left open for entertaining
large parties, has striking views of the Yellowstone River and the sun setting over Crazy Peak.
A coldwater trout pond, just steps from the historic homestead, will be a great place to practice
your roll cast, drop a line with the kids, or take an afternoon dip.
The new, eight stall equestrian facility will offer space for boarding where homeowners can bring horses to
enjoy over 10 miles of riding trails and 8 miles of ranch roads.
Float from one end of the ranch to the other on the Yellowstone River and try your hand against
the native Cutthroat, Rainbow, and Brown Trout. Or, put in upriver and end your day at the homestead.
