Our stretch of the Yellowstone River provides excellent fly-fishing for Yellowstone Cutthroat, Rainbow and Brown trout. River access is a snap with our private drift boat launch and nearby state boat ramp facilities at Otter Creek and Pelican, and wading the Yellowstone is easy from our shore. The nearby Boulder River affords outstanding small-river freestone fishing, and the Madison and Big Horn rivers are a day trip away.
Hike or bike over 10 miles of two-track and trails, or head out to the nearby Crazy, Beartooth and Absaroka mountains or Yellowstone National Park.
The ranch has healthy populations of Hungarian partridge, sharp-tailed grouse and placed pheasant for your hunting enjoyment. Tune-up your wingshooting before or after a hunt with our Promatic Huntsman Wingshooter (flurry trap machine).
Our 3,600 acres of varied terrain are wide-open for you and a good horse, which are made available for guests upon request.
A mile from home sites, the sporting clays course will feature multiple stations and state-of-the-art equipment.
The ranch affords wonderful wildlife viewing from almost any place, including the farmhouse porch, the barn pond, across our 3,600 acre vista, and down along the Yellowstone. Species frequently viewed: mule deer, pronghorn (antelope), rabbit, bald eagle, bobcat, Hungarian partridge.
Assist our ranch manager, Marc King, with his herd of beef cattle which graze much of the ranch between May and October.
